Our Qualifications in the 'Integrative-Technique' (which combines Gestalt Therapy with Cognitive Therapies.)

All our professionally qualified Counsellors have trained in the 'Integrative Technique'.

This is a well-established approach. It combines two main methods, which allows us to work with both depth and practicality. We are qualified to work with individuals and couples.

One of these methods is Gestalt Therapy - This enables us to develop an in-depth understanding of the issues clients bring.

The other method is Cognitive Therapy - This enables us to promote positive change.

The form of Cognitive Therapy can be either Pellin Contribution Training (CT) or Cognitive-Analytical Therapy (CAT) or Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Some practitioners combine these cognitive approaches.

Further training and continued professional development:

Womens Therapy Link practitioners are required to continue their professional development after they have qualified. This keeps us up-to-date with developments in counselling and psychotherapy and enables us to provide a well-rounded approach.

We are qualified to offer Assertion-Training, Non-Violent Communication, Anger-Management, Image-Work, Life-Coaching and various other methods. (Details vary from one practitioner to another.)

All our practitioners have regular professional supervision.

Our code of ethics and practice:

All our practitioners are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Our practitioners work according to the BACP code of ethics and practice.
